The statement of the problem is then followed by the purpose for the study, if any assumptions can be made and a qualitative review of the current methods of therapies. Adolescent Grief
[ send me this paper ]
This is a 3 page paper discussing adolescent grief, its differences from that of childhood and adult grief, reactions and school involvement in the bereavement process. Attending to the needs of grieving adolescents is considered an area of counseling and psychiatry which has been overlooked for many years. While there have been services and guidance in relation to grieving adults and children, there is considered to be an absence of programs in regards to teen services. Adolescent grief is considered different than that of child and adult grief because of the mixed messages often given by the adolescents themselves in that many are trying to strive for independence yet still recognize that they have some dependence on family members and others close to them. In addition, while adolescent grief is sometimes considered similar to that of adults, it is compounded with the additional stresses experienced during adolescence. Because of this adolescents often handle their grief with different reactions from those experienced by younger children and older adults. Bibliography lists 5 sources.

[ send me this paper ]
This 10 page report discusses hypnosis and the altered state of consciousness it produces. While the term “hypnosis” often carries a certain number of negative connotations that do not truly convey the beneficial and physiological relation response that is the legitimate hypnotic response, many people are still hesitant about the concept in general. The simple fact is that hypnosis is not a form of mind control and is not the will of one person being exerted over another. Health professionals, mental health counselors, even sports performance consultants advocate hypnosis as a form of stress reduction, pain management and personal performance enhancement. This is an 8 page paper providing an example of a Professional Disclosure Statement for a Licenced Professional Counselor. “Professional Disclosure Statements” for Licenced Professional Counselors vary somewhat from state to state but overall contain vital information relating to what details, history and qualifications the counselors must disclose upon introduction to the client and in turn what rights the clients have in terms of session, communication and report information which may or may not be disclosed by the counselor. For the large part, clients’ information is only disclosed upon written authorization from the client. Confidentiality may not be guaranteed however in some situations which include times when the client may be a serious threat to him or herself or others; when there is reasonable suspicion of child abuse or abuse of the elderly or infirm; when a court order is issued; or when the information is used in defense to a formal complaint to the counselor among other instances. Professional disclosure statements begin with information about the counselor(s) and then proceed to the confidentiality and disclosure rights of the clients. Bibliography lists 2 sources.
