Osama Bin Laden: The Face of Terrorism

A 5 page overview of Osama Bin Laden, the Saudi national who is being held responsible for the September 11, 2001 terrorist destruction of the New York World Trade Center and the partial destruction of the U.S. Pentagon. Asserts that Bin Laden has taken a deliberate and planned attack on the United States since the 1980s. Asserts that, despite the fact that the radical Islamic militants under the control of Bin Laden compose of a widely dispersed conglomerate of cells in dozens of countries around the world, the U.S. will win in its fight against terrorism because of both our technological superiority and our ideology. Concludes that The U.S. will not only prevail but it will win because its focus is not on Bin Laden but on the terrorist group though which he wreaks his destruction. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
